Went up to Arc 1600 about 0930 which was too early - the sun hadn't softened the ice and it was like scratching down a blackboard - horrible. Decided to go over the peak to Arc2000 which would catch the morning sun, and had a far better time. Did my favourite runs; Plan, lac, Cascades, etc, and enjoyed myself. Had a bit of a wipeout on lac and, as all my clothing was loose due to the weather, got snow in places you wouldn't really want to have snow... Had lunch in 2000, then went back over to 1800, back up to 2000 and all the way to the bottom of Cascades in one non-stop hit. Up to 1600, down to the funicular via a maze of red & blues, and despite the pretty rubbish lumpy snow had a really good time.
